HOW TO SAVE WHATSAPP STATUS(PHOTOS/VIDEOS) ON ANDROID

Whatsapp rolled out the "whatsapp status" feature last year and since then it has been amazing and fun. The whatsapp status is end to end encrypted and the updates disappears after 24hours. There is no official way of saving the files viewed on whatsapp status but there are 2 unofficial ways. After viewing the prospective video or photo:
                         1)
- go to your "file manager"
- enable "show hidden files"
- if you use an "SD card"(memory card) tap on it. If not, tap on "phone memory"
- go down to the "whatsapp" folder and tap on it
- tap on "media"
- tap on ".status"
- you'll see a list of all the latest pictures and videos you viewed
- tap on each to check for the one you wish to save
- when you find it, copy or move it to a different folder
- it is now safe and will appear in your gallery till you decide to delete it.

- Download a third party application from Google playstore. The application will be like the "insta save" for instagram, but will carry a whatsapp related name like "whatsapp status saver". There will be a series of apps that serve this purpose but pick the one with the highest rating (🌟). After downloading, open the app and follow the steps you will be given.
